About Us

Schnitz & Co is a busy, popular spot in the heart of the CBD, known for great value meals and fast, friendly service. We're looking for a solid, reliable Chef to join our team and help keep our kitchen running smoothly.


The Role

We need someone who can cook good food consistently, keep the kitchen tidy, and work well with the team during busy shifts. You'll be part of a supportive crew and a growing brand with plenty of opportunities across our venues.


What You'll Be Doing
  • Cooking and preparing meals to Schnitz & Co standards
  • Keeping food quality, portion size, and presentation consistent
  • Keeping the kitchen clean, organised, and safe
  • Following food safety rules and procedures
  • Working with the team to keep service running smoothly
  • Helping with stock, ordering, and general kitchen tasks
  • Supporting and helping train newer team members

What We're Looking For
  • Experience in a kitchen (restaurant or similar)
  • Able to work well under pressure
  • A team player with good communication
  • Reliable, organised, and committed to good standards
  • Able to work nights, weekends, and busy periods
