About the Role

We're looking for a reliable, hands-on team player to join our busy Steel distribution warehouse. This is a full-time, permanent role focused on warehouse operations and stock management. If you take pride in accuracy, enjoy physical work, and like being part of a supportive team, this could be the perfect fit.

What you'll do:

  • Pick, pack, and dispatch customer orders
  • Receive, check, and put away incoming stock
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through stocktakes and cycle counts
  • Operate forklifts and gantry cranes
  • Keep the warehouse clean, organised, and safe
  • Hours: Monday–Friday, 5am – 1:30pm (40 hrs/week)
Requirements
  • Experience in a steel warehouse or similar environment
  • Full Class 1 driver licence (required)
  • A current forklift licence is essential
  • Gantry crane experience (preferred)
  • Experience in warehousing, dispatch, or inventory control
  • Basic computer skills (ERP systems, Outlook, Excel)
  • Reliable, physically fit, and safety-minded
  • Team player with good attention to detail
