The role has a physical element – you'll need to be comfortable lifting and moving boxes, assembling products, and using tools where required. You may also drive the store van to deliver mobility equipment (such as scooters and wheelchairs) to local customers and demonstrate safe use.
You'll join a supportive and experienced store manager who takes pride in making a real difference in people's lives. This is not an ordinary retail role – it's part retail, part logistics, part customer service, and part community support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify mobility needs for individuals and organizations.
- Develop and implement tailored mobility solutions that align with client objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Provide expert advice on mobility aids, transport options, and accessibility improvements.
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions to educate clients on mobility best practices and resources.

- Stay informed of the latest trends and technologies in mobility aids and services.
- Document client interactions and service outcomes to maintain accurate records and support reporting.
What you'll bring:
- Previous experience in retail or customer service and an understanding of solution-selling.
- Confidence to eventually be able to work solo at times.
- Physically capable and willing to carry boxes, assemble equipment, and drive/deliver products.
- Competence with point-of-sale software systems and online tools.
- Empathy and strong communication skills to build trust with customers.

- Knowledge of the health/disability sector is an advantage, but not essential.
