You will be helping to provide the tools and technology for the work of our people in solving real world, complex and unique problems across business lines, clients, countries and technology platforms.

Te whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity

This role will enable you to be part of a step change in our technology program at an enterprise level for Beca that will enable Beca's second century of growth. You'll be working as part of cross-functional teams implementing and developing our expanding suite of enterprise applications, including Oracle Fusion and Workday. Your responsibilities will include leading and supporting business analysis efforts across multiple workstreams, eliciting, documenting, and validating business requirements using a variety of techniques such as workshops, interviews, surveys, and desk-based research.

You will act as a trusted advisor, bridging business and technical subject matter experts to simplify complexity and deliver practical solutions. You'll be defining functional and non-functional requirements, capturing key decisions with implementation partners, balancing best practice with pragmatic solutions that meet business needs and timeframes You will support testing and change management activities and develop or update business process definitions.

Strong problem-solving skills, conceptual thinking, and exceptional stakeholder management across cross-functional teams and communication skills are essential. The ability to multi-task, context switch, and effectively manage delivery priorities is crucial.

Mōu ake | About You

We are seeking a candidate with over 8 years of experience as a business analyst on large, complex projects. The ideal candidate will have experience across various software development methodologies and, preferably, in developing functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria and business processes. The ability to maintain a focus on the overarching goals while leading business analysis efforts on assigned projects is highly valued.

As a business analyst with extensive experience, particularly in enterprise system platforms, you can see and understand the "big picture" while also managing the detail. You are proficient at simplifying complex systems and can adapt your communication style to suit the audience.
