Casual Netball Umpires

Bay Venues …. Haven't heard of us? Not to worry; I bet you have heard of some of the venues we own or operate – the iconic Mount Hot Pools, Baywave, or Mercury Baypark to name a few. As the kaitiaki of 24 facilities in Tauranga Moana, we proudly offer a range of activities and experiences intended to put a smile on the dial of our community.

As an Umpire, you will gain great satisfaction that all participants have a fantastic experience through the provision of a high level of service. Being fully prepared, competent and up-to-speed with game rules and procedures will be your forte. Your dedication to encourage fair play and sportsmanship at all times, while providing a confident, consistent and unbiased service to all teams, will be unparalleled.

To be successful you must:

· Either have played or currently playing netball

· Be reliable and confident;

· Have excellent communication skills;

· Demonstrate excellent time management skills;

· Have the ability to retain professional demeanour and make concise judgement calls;

Holding a qualification in netball umpiring would be advantageous but is not necessary. Even if you haven't umpired netball before but enjoy the game you should apply.
