Upholsterer / Trainee Upholsterer

We are a small/medium size company based on the North Shore, specialising in manufacturing upholstery and canvas covers for high quality boats.

Over the last 30+ years we have built up a good reputation for producing high quality upholstery and cover work.

We are looking for someone to make custom upholstery, and boat covers with the following attributes and skills:

• Ability to produce quality upholstery and covers to a high standard

• A background in boat or car upholstery such as measuring/templating, foamwork, sewing and stapling squabs is ideal. However, we are happy to train an enthusiastic applicant who would like a hands-on role

• A good eye for detail, someone who takes pride in their work

• Highly motivated with the ability to work unsupervised and meet deadlines

• Good communication and comprehension, with team skills

• This is a hands-on role, working on boats that would suit an active person
