Resource Management Planner

Brown & Company Planning Group is a resource management planning consultancy offering quality advice and service to clients nationwide who are involved in a wide variety of urban development, rural, tourism, resort, recreational, and adventure projects.

We are seeking a suitably qualified resource management planner with at least 4-5 years' experience in the industry for a full-time position. The role will be wide ranging, with the opportunity to progress and gain experience under the mentorship of experienced consultant planners.

The successful applicant will be required to produce high quality planning advice, resource consent applications, and policy documentation for a range of clients including innovative developers, tourism operators, and local bodies, and liaise with consent authorities throughout New Zealand.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, self-motivation, and the ability to manage time effectively are vital for the role and you will have a good level of project management and problem-solving skills. The role can be based in Queenstown, Wanaka, Auckland, or Wellington. We support and encourage NZPI and RMLA membership.
