We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and proactive
Administrator
to support health, safety and wellbeing across Kāinga Ora. Reporting to the Manager - Health and Safety Systems and Support, your role will support incident reporting, training coordination, compliance tracking and stakeholder communication. You will be the behind-the-scenes enabler ensuring that systems, reports and documentation are well-maintained, accurate and responsive to business needs.

In this role, you'll play a key part in supporting the effective operation of our national health and safety function by providing critical administrative support. Your contribution will help ensure our people and processes remain safe, resilient, and well-supported.

To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Bring

  • Prior administrative experience, ideally in health and safety or a compliance-related environment
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and reporting
  • A keen interest in health, safety and wellbeing, and a willingness to grow capability in this space
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A positive, proactive approach to problem-solving
  • An understanding of the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015, or a willingness to learn
