About Kepla
Kepla is a fast-growing SaaS platform that automates property advertising, media publisher advertising and other verticals. We help businesses aunch, manage, and optimise digital ad campaigns across Meta, Google, Pinterest, and more upcoming integrations, either through our UI or via external system integrations.
We're a small, ambitious team building a workflow-first ad automation product. Think less manual ad setup and more automated orchestration and scale. We can take a single URL for a property landing page and automatically launch high-performing ad campaigns across multiple channels.
Our stack is modern, event-driven, and designed for rapid iteration:
- C# / .NET – backend services
- React – front-end
- Temporal – workflow orchestration
- SpiceDB – permissions and access control
- PostgreSQL – data storage
- Meta / Google / LinkedIn / Pinterest Ads API – campaign delivery
The Role
We're looking for an Intermediate Full Stack Developer to help us scale and evolve the Kepla platform.
You'll work closely with our founders, engineering, and product team to:
- Build features that make complex ad workflows simple and fast
- Develop and maintain core backend services in C# / .NET
- Work on a modern React front-end that powers real customer workflows
- Help design and implement upcoming integrations with major ad platforms such as TikTok and Bing Ads
- Contribute to platform performance, reliability, and help develop and maintain clean architecture
- Support major real estate brands with customer support, bug fixes, and system integrations
- Have a meaningful voice in technical direction as part of the engineering team, not just work on tasks
This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with a solid but growing foundation who wants to take ownership of real product features in a growing SaaS company.
What You'll Work With
- C# / .NET backend with clear service boundaries
- Temporal for long-running workflows and state management
- React front-end (TypeScript, modern component architecture)
- PostgreSQL with efficient querying and indexing
- SpiceDB for complex permissioning
- API integrations (Meta, Google, Pinterest, etc.)
- Modern DevOps workflows (CI/CD, containers, GitHub Actions)
What We're Looking For
- 2-3 years of professional experience in software development
- Strong experience with C# / .NET and modern JavaScript/TypeScript (React)
- Good understanding of databases (PostgreSQL experience a bonus)
- Comfortable working across both front-end and back-end
- A structured problem solver who writes clean, maintainable code, including an understanding of writing code which can be unit tested
- Interest in working on real product features, not just generic day-to-day tasks
- Bonus: exposure to Temporal, permissions systems, or ad platform APIs. Experience working with small startups/SaaS and an understanding of how startup responsibilities require you to wear multiple hats
Why Join Kepla
- Build software that directly powers real-world campaigns across New Zealand and beyond, working at the forefront of property advertising technology
- Work alongside experienced engineers who have founded companies in the advertising and music industry, worked at Trade Me, classifieds, and large marketplaces
- A small team means real impact. Your work won't disappear into a backlog, and you'll have the opportunity to work across multiple parts of our stack
- Get hands-on exposure to modern technologies including workflow engines, permission systems, and ad platform API integrations
- Flexible, remote-first environment with real ownership of your work
