About the role

Walker & Co Realty is seeking an experienced Property Manager to join our team in Queenstown, Otago. This is a part-time role where you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of residential properties, ensuring they are well-maintained and leased to high-quality tenants.

What you'll be doing

  1. Coordinate property viewings and liaise with prospective tenants
  2. Assess tenant applications and conduct thorough reference and credit checks
  3. Prepare and execute tenancy agreements
  4. Manage the end-to-end move-in and move-out process for tenants
  5. Regularly inspect properties to ensure they are well-maintained
  6. Respond promptly to tenant inquiries and address any maintenance issues
  7. Collect rent payments and arrears management
  8. Coordinate and oversee property repairs and maintenance
  9. Provide regular reports and updates to landlords

What we're looking for

  1. At least 2 years' experience in residential property management
  2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with tenants and landlords
  3. Excellent organisational and time management abilities
  4. Proficient in using property management software and Microsoft Office suite
  5. Knowledge of relevant residential tenancy legislation and regulations
  6. Adaptable and able to work independently as well as part of a team
