We're looking for front of house waitstaff who get what great hospitality feels like – the kind that's calm, confident, and leaves people smiling. You'll be the face of our café, making sure every guest feels welcome, every order is spot on, and every coffee hits the table just right.

As part of our team, you'll work closely with the front of house crew and kitchen to deliver a seamless guest experience. That means everything from taking orders and running plates, to keeping the café looking sharp, handling payments with accuracy, and pouring a wine or making a flat white when needed. You'll be hands-on, fast on your feet, and always ready to jump in where needed.

You're someone who genuinely enjoys hospitality and thrives on the hustle of a busy service. You stay calm under pressure, communicate clearly with both guests and your team, and you take pride in keeping standards high – whether it's your presentation, the café's vibe, or the way the food and drinks arrive at the table.

Day to day, you'll be:

  • Delivering friendly, professional table service to every guest
  • Supporting the team and communicating with the kitchen to keep service smooth
  • Handling cash and payments accurately
  • Ensuring standards of presentation – both yours and the café's – are always top-notch
  • Knowing (and loving) our food and beverage offering, and being able to talk about it with guests
  • Following liquor licensing requirements and keeping things safe

To excel in your new role, you'll bring:

  • Previous waitstaff or hospitality experience (barista skills a bonus, but training provided)

  • A friendly, professional attitude and strong communication skills

  • Ability to stay calm, organised, and efficient in a busy environment

  • An eye for detail and pride in presentation

  • Flexibility to work rostered shifts (including weekends and public holidays)

  • A genuine interest in food, beverage, and great service
