Te tūranga | The role:
Reporting to the GM Advice Centres, Private and Premium Banking you will have overall responsibility for the leadership and performance of the Central North Island Advice Centre teams.
This role will ideally be based in Central North Island, with travel required around the Central North Island region.

- Lead teams to achieve strategic and operational objectives
- Champion the transformation journey and customer experiences through a range of channels
- Drive change management and build change capability in the region
- Ensure effective risk, compliance, and health & safety management
- Support team growth, collaboration and ongoing learning
- Drive business development and foster strong stakeholder relationships

First And Foremost, You Will Be a Passionate People Leader And Know How To Get The Best From Your Team Through Your Proven Leadership Capability Including Effective Coaching, Developing And Mentoring Your Team. You Bring:
- Proven senior leadership in Banking/Financial Services (5+ years).
- Experience leading large teams across geographical locations, resources and budgets with successful outcomes
- Strategic thinker with strong communication and presentation skills, including senior management, networking and business development skills
- Sound understanding of risk environment (credit and operational risks), lending systems and procedures.
- Experience in business planning, implementation and change management.
