Hours: Tuesday to Saturday, 8.30 am – 5.00 pm (Saturday until 4.00 pm)

An Assistant Store Manager, will be responsible for supporting the Store Manager in the daily business operations of a retail store.

General tasks include supervising employees, communicating with and helping customers

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting the Store Manager in overseeing the daily operations of a store.
  • Providing excellent customer service, dealing with customer queries.
  • Ensuring the store is visually appealing, including merchandising displays and maintaining cleanliness.
  • Implementing store policies and procedures, and communicating these clearly to a team.
  • Monitoring inventory levels, overseeing stock takes and ordering products as required.

  • Providing backup to the Store Manager as needed, including running a store in their absence.

  • Lead and develop a high-performing sales team

  • Achieve sales budgets and KPI targets
  • Deliver an exceptional customer experience
  • Manage and process stock
  • Maintain store presentation and visual merchandising standards

What you'll bring:

  • Retail management experience (at least 1 years preferred)
  • Strong sales and customer service skills
  • Confidence with stock systems and computer technology
  • Visual merchandising knowledge
  • Great communication and people skills
  • Strong organisation, time management, and attention to detail
