We operate two successful restaurants in the heart of Queenstown, Flame Bar & Grill; renowned for its high energy and exceptional ribs & steak, has been delivering unforgettable experiences to customers for over 18 years. It has a loyal following and a vibrant atmosphere.

Sunfire, our newest restaurant, is an edgy, fast paced, smart casual restaurant focused on beautifully crafted food cooked over charcoal. Sunfire has quickly become the place to be for breakfast, lunch, or dinner with stunning views over the Queenstown waterfront.

With a commitment to excellence, attention to detail, and a dedication to our guests - we strive to operate the best restaurants possible.

About the Role

We are looking for experienced wait staff and bartenders to join the team. The right candidates will bring proven restaurant experience in a smart casual, full-service restaurant setting.

What You'll Bring

  • Proven floor experience – managing multiple tables, balancing priorities, and thriving under pressure.
  • OR proven bar experience – strong knowledge of classic cocktails with excellent pouring standards and speed of service. Confidence in a fast-paced dispense bar whilst working clean and efficient. Barista skills are a plus.
  • Exceptional guest engagement – anticipating needs, creating memorable experiences, and upselling food & beverage with confidence.
  • Menu & beverage knowledge – the ability to describe dishes, recommend pairings, and communicate specials clearly.
  • Calm under pressure – organised, composed, and guest-focused even at peak times
