The Opportunity
We have a rare opportunity for the right person to join Fulton Hogan as part of our dynamic team in the Marlborough Roads NOC Contract. We are looking for a Traffic Manager/TTM Planner to join our team. As Traffic Manager, your role will be to facilitate the smooth running of the traffic management team, and with your TTM experience you will be involved in facilitating the planning for traffic management projects for the department across all works within the Marlborough Roads NOC. Working alongside the Operations Manager and Supervisors, this role will provide TTM engineering, planning and administration support to our contract.
Role Accountabilities
- Coordination of works, seeking opportunities to improve productivity as appropriate.
- Liaising and building good relationships with relevant RCAs within the contract scope.
- The Owner of the Traffic Risk Management Plan, ensuring is updated and valid.
Ensure required regulatory approvals are current (eg TSL, WAP, NAP, parking restrictions). - Ensuring the contracted audits per month have been completed on Temporary Traffic Management sites. Including Attended / Unattended, Day and Night, based on the % of works completed.
- Determining the complexity of TTM and associated work and establishing appropriate design review and assurance processes.
- Ensuring the Traffic Risk Management Plan is updated and valid.
- Developing TMPs in accordance with NZGTTM and any approved variations/engineering exceptions decisions
- Manage the complete process from request to approval; this includes the design of all TMPs for single and multiple activities
- Ensure TMP's are drawn in accordance with the principles of the NZGTTM.
- Completing work that complies with the Network Outcome Contract Specifications and the relevant Management Plans, ITP's, best practice guidelines whilst following safe work practices.
- Ensuring all on site electronic records and paperwork is completed as directed by management.
- Assist with the day-to-day TTM coordination and general administration.
- Attend meetings where and when required alongside stakeholders
- Conduct Temporary TM audits (Site Condition Rating - SCR)
