Administrator/Receptionist

A trusted name in the community, Forrest Funeral Services provides funeral services to the North Shore and Hibiscus Coast regions in Auckland, and we are looking for an administrator receptionist superstar to join our dedicated, hardworking team.
We want a switched-on and highly motivated customer service professional who can support our dynamic & friendly team as an Administrator Receptionist. Although basedat our Browns Bay Branch, you will provide administration support to both our locations, the other being our Hibiscus Coast branch. Hours are full-time 8:00 – 4:30 or 8:30 – 5:00.
This opportunity will suit someone who thrives in a customer facing role and is confident interacting with grieving families. Full training and support are provided, however to flourish in this role you'll need empathy and patience along with common-sense and initiative to solve complex client interactions and situations.
Our future team member should have refined customer service skills, be professional and respectful, have excellent written and verbal communication ability, and be superior with their time management. An eye for detail and a strong work ethic are also essential, alongside general office administration and accounting competencies; an aptitude for technology, learning new systems, be capable in all Microsoft Office programs and be capable of driving efficiency improvement, as well as responsible for all print media for our North Shore and Hibiscus Coast funeral homes.
Duties include:
· Greeting client families and visitors in a warm and professional manner
· Answering the phone warmly, professionally and with compassion
· Supporting the manager with Marketing budgeting and graphics
· Entering details for accurate record keeping and retrieval
· Supporting other team members as required
