The Role

As an Application Support Specialist, you'll play a pivotal part in resolving technical issues, optimizing application performance, and supporting both business users and IT teams. You'll provide first and second-level support for applications and hardware, ensure timely and accurate documentation of troubleshooting steps, and be integral in implementing system updates and enhancements. You may utilize your expertise in Salesforce or SQL to address specialized support needs, share your knowledge through internal resources, and participate in an after-hours support rotation.

What You'll Do:

• Provide responsive technical support to end-users, troubleshooting software and hardware issues and implementing efficient solutions.
• Accurately document troubleshooting processes and outcomes to expand our internal knowledge base.
• Monitor application performance to proactively identify and resolve potential issues.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with IT, development teams, and vendors to resolve complex challenges.
• Assist in testing, deploying, and implementing new applications and system updates.
• Support specialized platforms, including Salesforce or SQL databases, as applicable.
• Maintain detailed records of support interactions and resolutions.
• Uphold and promote health, safety, and regulatory compliance in all aspects of your work.
• Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement through feedback, experimentation, and best practice sharing.
• Remain current on technology trends and undertake additional responsibilities as the business evolves.

Your Profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field-or equivalent professional experience.
• 2+ years of proven application support experience.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; comfortable translating technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with ticketing systems and support documentation.
• Proficiency in either Salesforce administration/development or SQL (queries, database optimization, data integrity)-experience in both is a distinct advantage.
• Recognized for your organizational skills, commercial awareness, independence, and initiative.
• Creative, data-driven thinker with keen attention to quality and results.
