As we continue to grow nationally, we're searching for a Group Chef to lead the charge across our culinary network.

About the Role

As a Group Chef, you'll play a pivotal role in overseeing and uplifting the performance of a portfolio of kitchens across the Star Group network. Reporting to the Head of Culinary, you'll operate at both a strategic and hands-on level, driving culinary excellence, financial performance, and strong people outcomes in line with our business objectives.

  • Lead and support a portfolio of kitchens to achieve food, labour, and consumer KPIs
  • Drive menu development, innovation, and seasonal execution, ensuring quality, consistency, and commercial outcomes
  • Support and develop Head Chefs and BOH teams through coaching, training, and capability building
  • Champion food safety, hygiene standards, and compliance across all kitchens
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives including new venue openings, process improvements, and culinary projects
