We're looking for a proactive and experienced Property Maintenance and Facilities Manager to join our senior leadership team and help us deliver exceptional service and operational excellence across our buildings.
About the Role
As our Property Maintenance and Facilities Manager, you'll be responsible for ensuring our properties are well-maintained, compliant, and maximising their potential. You'll lead our internal maintenance team and manage third-party contractors to deliver high performance while keeping costs under control.
This is a hands-on leadership role that combines strategic oversight with day-to-day operational management.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and support maintenance team members.
Manage reactive and preventative maintenance across residential and commercial properties.
Ensure compliance with Healthy Homes standards, BWOFs, fire safety, and other regulations.
Oversee renovations, space planning and income optimization initiatives.
Manage external contractors and service providers.
Prepare and manage maintenance budgets and cost-saving strategies.
Maintain inventory of supplies and spare parts.
Provide regular reporting to the Director on maintenance activities and building compliance.
What You'll Bring
Proven experience in property maintenance or facilities management.
Strong knowledge of building systems and compliance requirements.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Ability to manage contractors and negotiate service agreements.
Budgeting and cost control experience.
Strong communication and reporting skills.
Familiarity with facilities or maintenance management software is a plus.
