As we continue this growth journey, we have an opportunity for a Research Manager to come onboard to lead a game-changing External Market Research function at the heart of AA's Marketing Insights and Analytics Team

What You'll Be Doing | Mō te Tūranga

This is a pivotal role where you'll lead and shape the AA's External Market Research function into a true Centre of Excellence. You'll be responsible for delivering high-impact qualitative and quantitative research that informs strategic decisions across AA's businesses and joint ventures. Acting as the internal expert, you'll ensure transparency, efficiency, and cross-functional value in every project, while tailoring insights to meet the unique needs of internal stakeholders. From managing supplier relationships to embedding best practices and driving innovation in research methodologies, this role is all about turning market intelligence into business advantage.

About You | Mōu

We're looking for a market research professional with a strong command of both qualitative and quantitative techniques, backed by expertise in tools like SPSS, Alchemer, Qualtrics, and business reporting platforms such as SAS, MySQL, Tableau, and Power BI. A relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing, Statistics, or a related field will support your technical foundation, while your ability to think critically, solve problems, and communicate insights clearly will set you apart. You'll thrive under pressure, manage multiple deadlines with precision, and collaborate seamlessly across teams. If you're methodical, detail-oriented, and passionate about turning data into meaningful stories that drive business decisions, this role offers the perfect platform to make an impact.
