About the role

Spa and Pool Bay of Islands' is seeking a skilled Technician to join our team in Kerikeri, Northland. This full-time position is responsible for providing high-quality maintenance and repair services for a range of pools and spas. As a Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and safety of our clients' aquatic facilities.

What you'll be doing

  • Performing routine maintenance and inspections on pools, spas, and associated equipment
  • Diagnosing and repairing any mechanical, electrical, or plumbing issues that arise
  • Maintaining accurate records of all service activities and equipment performance
  • Providing exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns and inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Assisting with pool and spa installations
  • Collaborating with the team to implement best practices and improve service delivery
  • Adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations and company policies

What we're looking for

Ideally

  • a minimum of 3 years' experience as a Technician in the pool and spa industry
  • Strong knowledge of pool and spa systems, including water chemistry, filtration, and heating
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Exceptional customer service orientation and communication skills
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment
  • Candidates that have exposure to plumbing, electrics, pumps will be considered
