About the role

Are you an experienced store person with a passion for operational excellence and exceptional customer service? We are seeking an Inward Goods Store Person looking to showcase their eye for detail, strong organisational skills and their ability to respond to a variety of tasks, all with a smile and plenty of enthusiasm.

This is a full time role based at our Ashburton store working with other departments across our Mid Canterbury based farm supplies co-operative. It involves the efficient daily operation of Ruralco's Ashburton inward goods area, including accurately receiving, storage and distribution of goods while supporting a safe and efficient warehouse environment.

About you

You will need to have:

  • Demonstrated warehousing experience, particularly in inward goods
  • Forklift and dangerous goods certification
  • Full NZ drivers licence
  • Have a passion for customer service excellence
  • Great communication skills and the ability to build and maintain professional internal and external relationships
  • A high level of independence, initiative and organisational skills, while also having the flexibility and adaptability to work as part of a team
  • A good level of computer literacy and the ability to learn new systems
  • Be physically fit and capable with no restrictions on lifting or manual handling
  • A strong commitment and focus on health and safety
  • A willingness to learn and a can-do attitude
  • Be energetic, positive and enthusiastic
  • Have strong attention to detail and focus on accuracy
  • An understanding of the agricultural sector and related products
