We have a new position available in our team in New Plymouth Construction Team as a Drainage Foreperson. If you are looking for a role that is based outdoors, then we want to hear from you

Te kōwhiringa | The Opportunity 

As a Drainage Foreperson, you will be a mentor to your teammates as you undertake storm water and wastewater projects, as well as maintenance activities for our various clients. Your duties will include onsite management of the crew, laying various sized pipes on grade of different materials and ancillaries as well as a range of other small civil works.  

Nga pūkenga matua | Important Skills

With your leadership skills, you will also bring with you the below:

• Class 2 Full New Zealand Drivers licence and with the ability to drive a manual vehicle

• Proven drain laying experience and qualification.

• A proven track record of operating machinery in civil construction

• Physical ability (As you will be spending your time outdoors and, on your feet,)

• Great communication and technical skills

• Potable water, and or other civil related experience is a bonus.
