What You'll Do

As a Bar Duty Manager, you'll:

  • Lead by example behind the bar — crafting cocktails, pouring drinks, and serving with personality.
  • Act as the on-duty manager, ensuring Sale & Supply of Alcohol Act compliance, managing incidents, and being the key contact for any issues that arise.
  • Supervise and support the bar team during shifts, including training, coaching, and allocating tasks.
  • Manage cash handling, POS systems, and stock control.
  • Monitor atmosphere, presentation, and service standards to deliver an exceptional guest experience.
  • Handle guest feedback with professionalism and ensure issues are resolved promptly.
About You

We're after someone who:

  • Has proven bar/restaurant experience and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Holds (or is working towards) an LCQ and Manager's Certificate.
  • Brings strong leadership skills and can confidently step into the Duty Manager role.
  • Understands compliance and is committed to upholding a safe, responsible environment.
  • Has a people-first mindset, with excellent communication and customer service skills.
