We are looking for candidates for Retail Assistant Role.

Who will be responsible for the diligent and faithful

performance of the following duties:

· Perform basic calculations to collect payments and make change

· Scanning goods and ensuring pricing is accurate

· Operate registers, scanners, scales and POS terminals

. Basic cooking of finger foods in Take away (as and when required)

. Assist in cooking in take away (as and when required).

· Issue receipts, refunds, change or tickets

· Redeem stamps and coupons

· Memorize product locations throughout the store and be able to direct

customers or make suggestions

Handle exchanges and refunds in a quick, efficient manner

· Delivering outstanding customer service to all customers by listening

and responding to customer queries in a confident and professional

manner

· Reporting customer complaints to Line Managers and Duty Managers

· Ensuring that trolleys and carrier bags are clean and placed in the

right places

· Collect payments and bag purchases for customers

· Maintain accurate cash drawer

· Take a tally of the funds in the cash register when required during a

shift and produce transaction reports

· Handling merchandise returns and exchanges

· Keep the checkout area clean and order

· Assist in the takeaway whenever needed

· Assist in packaging of the food whenever needed

· Presenting or packaging fast food products

· Assist to ensure the Cleanliness in the kitchen

· Serving order to customers at windows or counters whenever needed

· Achieving all safely, hygiene & food quality targets

Ideal Candidate to have;

Providing exceptional customer service and displays a positive

attitude when interacting with customers and other employees.

Any relevant experience is preferred however on the job training may be provided

Any Tertiary qualification including overseas qualification is preferred not mandatory.

Hours of work: Minimum 30 hours
