About the role
This is an exciting opportunity for a communications professional with lived experience of disability to join our team in a newly established part time role 20 hours per week, flexibility on days/hours). Do you have the ability to tell stories, write fantastic content, celebrate company news and success, and to engage with our people and our clients to showcase our brand.
You'll be a dynamic and media-savvy professional who's lived experience of disability provides the deep understanding of our sector, it's challenges and possess a desire to make a meaningful contribution.
Passionate about supporting services that enable good lives, you will be responsible for enhancing brand awareness and supporting Accessable's strategic communication goals with development & implementation of content across various internal & external digital platforms including social media, website, newsletters and bulletins.
What you will bring
- Lived experience of disability and the sector essential
- Bachelor's degree in communications (or related discipline)
- Strong communication skills, ability to build rapport with internal & external stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience in digital media, creating and managing quality content, including the use of various digital channels & other communication tools
- Strong relationship skills with the ability to work well with people of all abilities and at all levels.
