Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Carpenter / Steel Framing Installer to join our construction team.

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in metal stud framing,, and general carpentry work in commercial or residential sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install steel stud framing and ceiling systems according to plans and specifications
  • Measure, cut, and assemble materials accurately
  • Read and interpret drawings and project specifications
  • Work with plasterboard and assist with linings where needed
  • Maintain a safe and tidy work environment
  • Collaborate effectively with site supervisors and team members
  • Ensure work is completed to a high standard and within deadlines

Requirements

  • Proven experience in steel framing or carpentry (3 years minimum preferred)
  • Strong understanding of construction plans and framing systems
  • Site Safe card (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or in a team
  • Full NZ work rights (citizen, resident, or valid work visa)
  • Assemble and install steel framing structures for warehouses and commercial buildings.
