Experienced Automobile Painters
Due to the growth and expansion of our business, LDM Repairs and Installation Limited is looking for 1 self-motivated and experienced Automobile Painter to join our busy and enthusiastic team, working as an integral part of the growth and ongoing success of our thriving business. The positions to work in the Auckland Region.
You will be responsible for the following duties:
Key tasks:
- Remove rust from metal, and grease and dirt from work surface.
- Sand and clean surfaces to be painted
- Mask and protects parts that are not to be painted or coated.
- Fill cavities and dents with putty to attain smooth surface.
- Select, mix and match paint according to specifications.
- Apply the paint with a spray machine or hand held spray gun
- Paint surface using sprayer or brush as appropriate.
- Rub, polish, and wax finish coats.
Requirements:
- Trade certificate in Automotive Refinishing is preferred but not essential
- Vehicle painting techniques and experiences essential
- Have at least 1 years of relevant work experience as an Automotive Painter
- Take pride in all work completed and have a good level of attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task; Being fit, energetic, reliable with an exceptional work ethic
- Be able to self manage but also work well in a team

Above-average wage rates are on offer dependent on experiences and qualifications – approximately $30 ( minimum)-$38 (maximum)per hour.

This role is a full time and permanent role, offering a work week of 40 hours minimum from Monday to Friday, may work occasionally on Saturdays.
