About the Role

We are hiring a Cybersecurity Sales Consultant in New Zealand to help drive Cybertify's growth across the region.

You will work closely with our CISO (APAC) and a highly skilled offensive security team based in Auckland, representing a sovereign, compliance-first cybersecurity firm trusted by regulated industries across Australia and New Zealand.

This is a pure new business role, not account management. You will identify, engage, and convert new clients, selling cybersecurity consulting services including offensive security (penetration testing, red teaming) and GRC / ISO 27001 compliance engagements.

Your background must be in consulting, not product or vendor sales. You understand how to scope, price, and sell complex cybersecurity engagements where credibility, speed, and precision matter.


Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the entire sales cycle from prospecting and discovery through to proposal and closure
  • Engage directly with CISOs, CIOs, COOs, CROs, Risk and Compliance leaders across industries
  • Translate business, security, and regulatory needs into structured, compliance-driven solutions
  • Collaborate with the Auckland offensive team and technical consultants across the region
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline through relationships, referrals, and outbound activity
  • Use modern sales enablement tools for tracking, forecasting, and pipeline management
  • Represent Cybertify with integrity, professionalism, and authority in every client interaction

What You Bring
  • Proven success selling cybersecurity consulting services, including GRC, ISO 27001, penetration testing, and red teaming
  • Strong network and trusted relationships within the New Zealand enterprise and mid-market sectors
  • Experience in cybersecurity consulting or advisory firms, not vendors or resellers
  • Understanding of risk, compliance, and consulting delivery models
  • Executive-level communication and the ability to influence senior decision-makers
  • Commercial acumen, self-motivation, and a track record of closing business independently
  • A reputation for being credible, respected, and trusted in the cybersecurity industry
