ABOUT THE ROLE - MŌ TĒNEI TŪRANGA
As a Venue Coordinator, you'll dive into the world of premier event management at our esteemed Auckland Conference Centre. From workshops to seminars, your role will encompass client liaison, operational finesse, and ensuring seamless event execution. This role operates Monday to Friday, flexibility will be required to support events between 6.30am and 9.00pm.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Managing customer enquiries and reservations with finesse
- Coordinating catering and other suppliers as required
- Managing AV setups for unforgettable events
- Facilitating event setup, execution of end-to-end event delivery
- Post-event administrative and financial duties
ABOUT YOU - HE KŌRERO MŌU
Are you a master of organisation with a flair for multitasking? We're seeking an individual who exudes a passion for exceptional client service and thrives under pressure. In addition to impeccable attention to detail, you'll bring:
- Prior corporate hospitality or events experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, ability to learn new systems and support AV systems
- Exceptional interpersonal, organisational, and communication skills
- Proactive approach to problem-solving
- The ability to tackle challenges head-on and deliver results under pressure
- Skilled in coordinating and setting up room layouts to suit event needs
