About the role

We are seeking experienced and qualified Traffic Controllers to join our team in Palmerston North Central Manawatu.

You will be providing essential support on various work sites to ensure the smooth and safe flow of traffic.

As a Traffic Controller, you will play a vital part in maintaining the safety of both workers and the public.

What you'll be doing

  • Directing and controlling the flow of traffic at work sites using approved traffic management methods and equipment
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and procedures
  • Assisting with the set-up and removal of traffic management devices such as signs, cones and barriers
  • Communicating effectively with site workers, drivers and pedestrians to provide clear instructions
  • Maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with the public

  • Qualified Traffic Controllers
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to safety
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays as required
  • Current NZ driver's licence and reliable transportation
