Join our Papanui-based factory team

We are currently seeking reliable and capable individuals to work in our Papanui-based factory.

What type of work would you be doing?

You will work in a small team to receive, scan and prepare batches of meat for production, which will involve operating a forklift and other industrial machinery.

What are the hours of work?

40 hours a week, rostered between the hours of 5.30am - 4.30pm, Monday to Friday

About us

Verkerks is a family-owned and Christchurch-based NZ company that has been producing quality salami and small-goods products for three generations.

Our ideal candidate is/has the following

• Physically fit and strong, able to lift between kg on a regular basis
• A full New Zealand driver's licence and is eligible to receive a forklift endorsement
• Used to working in a cold environment (around six degrees)
• Responsible and organised, always turning up to work on time
