Pool Lifeguard

Based at the Aquatic Centre at St Peter's School, Cambridge – home to the award-winning St Peter's Swim School and St Peter's Swimming Club – our facility delivers a wide range of high-quality programmes for the wider community. We are seeking motivated and reliable Lifeguards who are passionate about keeping our visitors safe while providing exceptional customer service in a world-class environment.

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• A current Pool Lifeguard Practising Certificate (PLPC) – (training could be provided for the right person).
• A valid First Aid Certificate
• Confidence and strong communication skills to engage positively with families, children, and staff
• A committed, reliable, and team-focused approach
• A professional, well-presented, and customer-oriented attitude

You'll be approachable, friendly, and able to connect easily with swimmers and team members of all ages. You won't be afraid to dig in and help maintain our wonderful facilities.

This is a permanent position, with three opening shifts a week – 5am-10.30am. Hours may vary depending on the season — offering flexibility to fit around your lifestyle – perfect for someone looking for a secondary job or a student

Some weekend and evening work will be required.
