We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Office Administrator to work within our Office here at Freshchoice Picton supermarket.

Are you a detail-oriented, reliable, and experienced Office Administrator looking for a new challenge in a fast-paced retail environment? Join our small, friendly Office team at Freshchoice Picton where your skills will play a vital role in behind the scenes.

About the Role:

This is a key support role where you'll manage a range of back-office functions that help our store operate smoothly. You'll work 20 hours per week across Tuesday to Friday, ideal for someone looking for part-time stability with meaningful responsibilities. You'll be the go-to person for handling everything from data entry and payroll to banking and invoice management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data entry – input and process invoices accurately with XERO Accounting
  • Use Excel spreadsheets confidently for various business function
  • Handle banking systems & use POS programs to manage customer and debtor accounts
  • Complete physical banking and cash management duties
  • Use Xero Accounting software proficiently
  • Run MYOB Payroll, which can be complex due to the variety of staff roles and rosters
  • Assist with general administrative duties and provide support to the management team & staff

What We're Looking For:

The ideal candidate will be honest, reliable, and a strong team player with an excellent attention to detail and be process oriented.

You will also bring:

Strong computer skills and quick adaptability to new systems

Proven experience in an administrative or office support role, ideally within retail or a small business

Ability to follow processes and have strong data entry skills

Excellent communication skills – friendly, professional, and solution-focused

Experience with Excel, Word, Outlook, Payroll systems (MYOB), Xero Accounting and the ability to learn other bolt on systems

Ability to manage sensitive financial and payroll data with confidentiality

High integrity and a strong work ethic alongside excellent time management & organisational skills

A friendly, reliable team player who can work independently and communicate well within a small close-knit team environment


Position Details:
  • Permanent, part-time (20 hours/week)
  • Flexibility required over the peak times (year end/recruitment where additional hours may be required)
  • Competitive remuneration – based on experience and skillset
