Are you looking to get started in healthcare and want a real, hands-on role where you can grow? Dentures Tauranga is looking for a part-time Denture Assistant to support our busy, friendly clinic.
This role could suit someone starting out in their career who is keen to learn, is reliable and wants to be part of a supportive team.
Hours
- Tuesday: 2pm – 6pm
- Wednesday: 2pm – 6pm
- Thursday: 2pm – 6pm
- Friday: 9am – 4pm
- Saturday: 9am – 12pm (when required)
Responsibilites
- Assisting the Clinical Dental Technician chair-side
- Preparing rooms, sterilising instruments and keeping the clinic tidy
- Welcoming patients and helping them feel comfortable
- Basic admin tasks such as notes and appointments
Training & Career Pathway
We are offering a pathway to study the NZ Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (Level 3) – Dental Assistance through Careerforce. This is an NZQA-accredited qualification that can be completed while working part time.

Previous dental experience is not essential – full training will be provided for the right person.
