Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of medical conditions.
• Referring patients appropriately and in a timely manner to other providers if their needs exceed the range of care, you can provide and following up these referrals Provide patient-centered care with a strong focus on health promotion and disease prevention.
• Ordering diagnostic tests as needed, checking, acting on and informing patients of results in a timely manner.
• Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the practice Requirements.
• Registered with the Medical Council of New Zealand with a current Annual Practicing Certificate.
• Fellowship with the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners (RNZCGP) is preferred.
• Strong clinical skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Practical experience as GP with 3 to 5 years' experience (preferred).
• Experience in accident & medical care in a primary care setting.
• Experience working with people from a variety of cultural background.
• Minor surgery skills.
• A respect and understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
• Be legally entitled to work in New Zealand/Aotearoa (citizen, work Visa or NZ Residency).
• Full driver's license.
