About the Role:

Location: Ormiston, Auckland

Shift: Day Shift | 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

What You'll Be Doing:

Set up and operate manual lathes, mills, and other workshop machines

Manufacture, repair, and assemble components to precise specifications

Interpret technical drawings and job requirements accurately

Work across a range of projects in a busy engineering workshop

Collaborate with a skilled team to deliver high-quality results

What We're Looking For:

Trade Certification – NZQA Level 4 in Fitting & Turning (or equivalent) (advantageous)

3+ years' experience in a machining or fitting role

Strong competency with manual lathes, milling machines, and measuring tools

Excellent ability to read and interpret technical drawings

High attention to detail and a strong focus on safety

Reliable, motivated, and able to work independently or in a team
