Job Title- Courier driver

No. of positions- 2

Pay Rate- $25- $30 per hour

32- 40 hours weekly

Your duty is to ensure the presentation of the business is at a high standard, to create a pleasant environment for the customers and work closely with the team and ensure a smooth running of the service while operating equipment and machines.

Responsibilities:

  1. Loading, transporting and delivering items to clients or businesses in a safe, timely manner

  2. Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, the charges are correct, and the customer is satisfied

  3. Assisting with loading and unloading items from vehicles safely to avoid any kind of damages

  4. Providing excellent customer service, answering questions and handling complaints from clients

  5. Maintains communication with management to be informed of any change of delivery, route or schedule

  6. Informs management of any obstructions to making safe, efficient deliveries on time

  7. Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules

  8. Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe drive record

  9. Preparing reports and other documents relating to deliveries

  10. Keeps company vehicle clean and ensure it is well-maintained, has fuel, oil and is ready to drive

  11. Operating equipment and machines such as cars, trucks, forklifts etc

NZ OR Overseas driving license is required

No Experience and no qualification is required for this position.

Drug test is required.

Background criminal check is also required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour
