Job Description

Your opportunity to join our team

The Export Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all export activities to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods to international markets. This includes preparing shipping documentation, liaising with freight forwarders, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations, and maintaining accurate export records. The role plays a key part in ensuring customer satisfaction and operational efficiency within the export function.

Responsibilities include

  • Coordinate and manage all export shipments from order confirmation to final delivery.
  • Prepare and process export documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, and export declarations.
  • Monitor shipments and proactively resolve delays or issues with carriers or customs.
  • Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs brokers to arrange transport and ensure timely dispatch of goods
  • Communicate regularly with internal teams (sales, production, warehousing) to ensure accurate order fulfilment
  • Maintain up-to-date records and files for all export transactions.
  • Assist in preparing monthly export reports and performance metrics

You will bring to this role

  • 2+ years of experience in export coordination, shipping, or international logistics
  • Experience dealing with freight forwarders and customs procedures
  • Knowledge of international documentation requirements and compliance
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) is an advantage
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and logistics/ERP systems
  • Problem-solving mindset and proactive approach
