The Role

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Class 5 Driver - General House Mover to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for all aspects of house moving, from preparing the building for relocation to transporting it safely to its new location. This is a hands-on role that requires a high level of physical fitness and a strong commitment to safety.

You will be working in a dynamic and challenging environment where no two days are the same.

Key Responsibilities

You will:

Safely operate a Class 5 truck and trailer unit to transport houses and other buildings.

Assist with the preparation of buildings for relocation, including lifting, securing, and protecting them, and tie down to completion of the project.

Work effectively as part of a team to ensure the smooth and efficient completion of each job.

Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies .

Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.

Be able to work night shifts as required for house moves.

About You

Essential Requirements:

  • Hold a full, clean Class 5 driver's license
  • Previous experience in the house-moving industry is essential
  • Be able to handle the demands of a physically demanding job
  • Have a strong can-do attitude and a willingness to learn
  • Be a reliable and punctual team player
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills *Be able to pass a police check
