Chef de Partie – Brew Co Mount Maunganui

Are you passionate about good food, independence, and running your own kitchen with pride?

Brew Co Mount Maunganui is on the hunt for a talented and motivated Chef de Partie to take charge of our galley.

This is a Chef position, perfect for someone who loves a hands-on role, takes ownership of their kitchen, and enjoys helping out across our sister venue Sailor Galley & Rum Bar from time to time.

Oh — and you've gotta love making burgers. It's what we're known for, and we take them seriously.


What You'll Be Doing

* Crafting high-quality, consistent food

* Maintaining excellent hygiene and food safety standards

* Managing prep, service, and plating from start to finish

* Overseeing stock control, ordering, and maintaining par levels

* Keeping the kitchen organised, clean, and running efficiently

* Supporting our sister venues when needed to keep the wider team flowing smoothly

* Bringing creativity to daily specials and seasonal menu changes


What We're Looking For

* Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or a confident Chef ready to step up

* Self-motivated and capable of running a kitchen independently

* Reliable, organised, and passionate about great food (and great burgers)

* Excellent communication and teamwork skills

* High personal hygiene standards

* Positive attitude, creativity, and pride in presentation
