About the Role

We're seeking a Team Coordinator to support production operations within our Chicken Processing (Value Added) department at our Christchurch plant.

This is a permanent, full-time position (Monday to Friday) requiring some flexibility to meet business needs. Working closely with the Team Leader, the Team Coordinator plays a key role in driving safety, quality, productivity, delivery performance, and team engagement across their designated area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate day-to-day production operations and ensure Team Leaders and Managers are well informed
  • Support team development, engagement, and capability building
  • Maintain appropriate skill levels to meet production demand
  • Partner with Engineering to address issues and improve performance
  • Update weekly performance charts and report on variances
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, standard work, and operational procedures

What You'll Bring

  • 2–3 years' production experience in a similar manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrated leadership ability or supervisory experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritise effectively and manage multiple tasks
  • Solid computer literacy
  • Composure under pressure, sound judgement, and strong problem-solving capability

Leadership experience is essential, given the pace and operational demands of the role.
