Procurement Specialist

We're looking for a Procurement Support professional to join a busy procurement team and provide hands-on support while a team member is on extended leave.
This is a great short-term role for someone who enjoys working in a collaborative environment, keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes, and bringing structure to a fast-moving operation within a large manufacturing and export-focused organisation.
What you'll be doing:
- Assisting the procurement team with day-to-day purchasing activities
- Preparing and issuing purchase orders, updating supplier information, and tracking deliveries
- Supporting tender or sourcing processes as required
- Coordinating with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth communication
- Managing documentation and maintaining accurate records in the system
What we're looking for:
- Around 2–3 years' experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply support
- Strong attention to detail and solid Excel/system skills
- Confident communication style — comfortable dealing with suppliers and internal teams
- A proactive, down-to-earth attitude and the ability to pick things up quickly
- Available to start within the next couple of weeks
