We're looking for an experienced electrician who's ready to pass on their knowledge. As an Electrical Tutor, you'll facilitate Skills-approved courses, support learners to achieve success, and help shape a future-fit workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver and assess courses in block or day-release formatsSupport night classes and ongoing course developmentProvide coaching and academic support to studentsMonitor student progress and report outcomesMaintain training centre resources and assist with workshop upkeepRole model and promote Health & Safety practices

Skills And Experiences

What Skills and Experience We're Looking For:

NZ Electrical Registration (Full Practising Licence, Inspector's Licence, or equivalent)Significant practical experience in the electrical industryExperience in adult teaching or training (or willingness to be trained)Strong communication and student engagement skillsConfidence with Microsoft tools (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)Experience in planning, coaching, or mentoring others is a plus
