Wellington Central, Wellington, New Zealand Antipodes Wellness Ltd Full time NZ$80,000 - NZ$120,000 per year

About Antipodes

Antipodes is a premium, science-led natural skincare brand from New Zealand, globally recognised for sustainable innovation and award-winning formulations.

As we expand our direct-to-consumer (D2C) operations across New Zealand, Australia, the UK, and France, we need an experienced Digital Marketing & Performance Lead to drive revenue and CRM growth across Antipodes paid and organic digital channels.

This is a commercially focused role for a data-driven, analytical marketer who combines insight with hands-on execution – ensuring every campaign is measurable and on-brand. You will need to demonstrate hands on experience from within a brand or ecommerce platform that delivers substantial revenue.

This role is full-time, based solely on-site from our award-winning (and dog friendly) HQ in Wellington CBD.

Role overview

The Digital Marketing & Performance Lead is responsible for planning, executing, and optimising digital campaigns across all paid and organic platforms to maximise ROI and brand performance.

You'll own paid and organic social media end-to-end – from campaign setup, copywriting and scheduling to performance analysis and reporting. You'll keep the user journey front of mind, engaging our audience from top to bottom of funnel.

This is a hands-on, insight-led role for someone who thrives on both numbers and narrative – balancing data analysis with an intuitive understanding of brand storytelling. You'll bring consistency to Antipodes' digital presence, ensuring performance never comes at the expense of brand integrity.

Key responsibilities

Paid social & performance marketing

  • Plan, execute, and optimise paid social campaigns in NZ, Australia, France and UK across Meta, TikTok, and Pinterest
  • Deliver ROI-focused results across awareness, engagement, and conversion campaigns.
  • Track and interpret key metrics – ROAS, CPA, CTR, conversion rate – and report actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with the in-house creative team to brief and supply assets for Google Ads, which are managed by an external agency.
  • You'll have proven experience adhering to campaign budgets and presenting performance reports.
  • Deliver on-brand caption copy for both paid and organic social posts.

Organic social media management

  • Firstly, this is not a content creation or design role: all visual assets are produced by the in-house creative team.
  • You'll manage scheduling, publishing, and engagement across Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn.
  • Oversee post boosting, reposting, and amplification to support campaign objectives.
  • Ensure social activity aligns with brand and campaign calendars.
  • Respond to social comments in a professional, brand-aligned manner, redirecting customer service queries if needed.

TikTok

  • Own, develop, and implement an insight-led TikTok strategy to grow reach, engagement, and conversion.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to brief and guide video content tailored to this platform.
  • Test and optimise ad formats, targeting, and creative approaches to drive measurable ROI, while maintain brand integrity.
  • Apply learnings to broader paid social activity.

Analytics, insights & reporting

  • Analyse paid campaign performance data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities.
  • Produce regular reports across paid social channels.
  • Share data-driven recommendations to improve campaign efficiency and ROI.
  • Champion a data-first mindset, ensuring decisions are guided by evidence and performance outcomes.

Collaboration & agility

  • Work closely with our Creative Director, Heads of Ecommerce and Communications, and external agency partners.
  • Brief the in-house creative team with paid media assets required for external agency use (e.g. Google Ads).
  • Act as an authority in digital performance and ROI. You'll be confident in providing insights, recommendations, and clear direction to ensure an uplift in ROI.
  • Support content planning for website landing pages, blogs and social media.
  • Stay agile, adapting strategy in response to platform updates, analytics, and emerging trends.

Key skills & experience

  • 5+ years' experience in digital marketing, performance marketing and ecommerce platforms – ideally within beauty, or premium consumer brands.
  • Strong brand stewardship – able to maintain consistency with Antipodes' tone and visual identity, avoiding reactive or trend-led activity that dilutes brand equity.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with impeccable attention to detail.
  • Proven success independently managing large paid social budgets and multi-platform performance campaigns.
  • Highly analytical – confident with spreadsheets, performance reporting, and ROI analysis.
  • Deep understanding of Meta Business Suite and TikTok social analytics tools.
  • Knowledge of SEO principles and how they inform campaign and copy strategy.
  • Proactive, organised, and commercially minded, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • A skilled problem-solver and solutions-finder.
  • A team player – we're a tight-knit and supportive team.

What we offer

  • A creative, purpose-driven culture within a globally recognised sustainable skincare brand.
  • The opportunity to directly influence digital growth and brand performance.
  • A supportive team, strong induction, and professional development and career growth opportunities.
  • Beautiful dog-friendly office, great coffee and a dynamic working environment.
