Pukekohe, New Zealand humanlogix Full time NZ$80,000 - NZ$120,000 per year

Here's a rare chance to take the reins. This combined Aftersales Manager role gives you full responsibility for both the Service and Parts departments - real ownership, not just in title. If you're looking for the freedom to lead, manage, and contribute to the growth of a business, this is an opportunity to consider.

What the role's about: You'll lead a team of six across the workshop and parts departments, shaping how things run day-to-day and driving improvements across performance, efficiency, and customer experience. You'll have the space to make decisions, introduce new ideas, and build capability for the future, all while keeping the business running smoothly and profitably.

Key parts of the role include:

  • Managing all aspects of the aftersales operation - operationally, financially, and strategically.
  • Leading your team to deliver great service, customer satisfaction, and commercial results.
  • Maintaining high standards across service, repairs, warranties, and WOF compliance.
  • Promoting the Honda brand and ensuring Counties Honda continues to stand out for quality and care.
  • Refining systems, processes, and training to lift performance and capability.
  • Creating a culture where people are engaged, accountable, and continue to enjoy what they do.

Who we're looking for: You're someone who likes to take ownership - proactive, hands-on, and confident in your ability to make things happen. You'll have:

  • A background in the automotive industry, trade qualified, with proven practical experience.
  • Innate ability to lead people, both technical, parts and admin teams.
  • Solid commercial and financial understanding - you know how to manage budgets and hit KPIs.
  • A genuine passion for motorcycles; familiarity with farm and road bikes is a real plus.
  • Experience with marine or power equipment would be an advantage.
  • Ambition to grow, there's room here to develop into a broader management role over time.

Why this role stands out: You'll be working directly with the Owner and Director of Counties Honda, someone who's passionate about delivering exceptional results and wants a partner to help shape the business for the future. Your ideas, energy, and commercial know-how will be genuinely valued here.

Ideally, you'll be available to work every second Saturday from 9am to 1pm. It's not a dealbreaker though and we're happy to chat and find an arrangement that works well for both you and the team.
