Are you a qualified and experienced Construction Equipment Technician ready to take the next step in your career? We're actively seeking dedicated professionals to join an amazing team with a variety of exciting opportunities available in both field service and workshop-based roles across New Zealand. Whether you thrive in hands-on, on-site environments or prefer the structure of workshop settings, we have positions to match your skills and aspirations.
The company and the role
This nationally represented, franchise organisation is a leading provider of construction equipment solutions, offering sales, service, and repairs for a wide range of heavy machinery and are committed to delivering high-quality service and ensuring their equipment operates at peak performance.
You will perform mechanical repairs, servicing, and diagnostics on a range of heavy equipment.
This is a full time, permanent role offering a minimum of 40 hours per week.
Skills we seek
- Relevant automotive trade qualification
- A minimum of 3 years' hands on experience as a technician
- The preference is for technicians with experience on construction or earthmoving equipment but consideration will be given to those with mining or forestry equipment backgrounds
- HT licence and WTR endorsements advantageous
- Solid mechanical repair skills
- Hydraulics knowledge and experience
- Strong diagnostic ability
- The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Sound customer service skills
- Good time management skills
