Hectre is a fast-growing, hardware-enabled SaaS company headquartered in Auckland, New Zealand, with a global team across sales and customer success. We operate in the fresh produce sector, providing fruit quality data to some of the world's largest packhouses.

Our products use
computer vision and AI

to detect key quality attributes of fruit including size and colour. We're now investing further into
hyperspectral imaging

to measure internal quality, pressure, and maturity - combining cutting-edge technology with practical, easy-to-implement solutions for our customers.

It's an exciting time to join.

We've almost doubled growth in 2025 and are aiming to do it again next year. We're closing out an oversubscribed Series A now - so we can put the foot down and make our mark in the world. Some of our key markets include
Spain, Italy, Chile, the US, Turkey, and South Africa

We are looking for a
Head of Growth & Product Marketing

to help build our revenue engine.

While this is a senior "Head of" position requiring high-level strategic thinking, it is currently an
individual contributor role
with the potential to build a team around you in the future
.
We are looking for a builder who loves getting their hands dirty in the tools, executing campaigns, and writing copy just as much as they love setting the long-term vision.

What You Will Own

1. Product Marketing & Sales Enablement

• Own the Narrative:

Translate complex computer vision tech into simple, high-impact value propositions and commercial messaging.

• Fuel the Sales Team:

Build the battle cards, ROI calculators, case studies, and pitch decks that help our team close deals.

• Launch Excellence:

Lead go-to-market strategies for new features (hyperspectral imaging) and product updates.

2. The Growth Engine (ABM)

• Orchestrate Growth:

Move beyond generic lead-gen. Build targeted, region-specific ABM campaigns that put Hectre in front of key decision-makers.

• Global Event Strategy:

Lead our presence at major international trade shows, ensuring every expo results in captured intent and pipeline.

• Execution:

You will be hands-on in setting up campaigns and workflows. You will manage external freelancers for specialized execution (ads, graphic design), but you own the strategy and the outcome.

• Revenue Accountability:

Partner with RevOps to track pipeline velocity and conversion rates.

3. Brand Custodianship

• The Brand Guardian:

You are responsible for consistency. You ensure Hectre looks and sounds the same whether it's on a website in Italy, a pitch deck in Washington, or a LinkedIn post from our CEO.

• Creative Standards:

Elevate our visual identity. We need to stand out clearly from competitors with a compelling, polished look and feel across all channels.

• Product Marketer

• Growth -

you understand funnels, data, distribution and outcome based activities.

• B2B Experience

• you have a track record in B2B SaaS (Hardware-enabled or Agritech is a massive bonus).

• Global Mindset

• you understand that selling in Italy is different from selling in the US, and you can adapt marketing motions accordingly.

• Brand Eye:

You don't need to be a designer, but you know what "good" looks like and you refuse to let average work go out the door.

• Not your first rodeo

: You've been in the trenches before, you know what a startup is like and you're ready to make your mark in a big way.
