We are seeking an IT Operations Technician to support our end users and assist with infrastructure tasks. You'll help ensure our IT environment is secure, efficient, and future-ready. You'll work alongside a smart, supportive IT team that values knowledge sharing and results.

What you'll do

  • Act as the first point of contact for PB Tech staff seeking technical assistance (primarily hardware-related).
  • Reimage and support Windows 11 desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and common applications (Office 2024, O365 Suite, Teams).
  • Configure and maintain printers (label, courier, thermal receipt, A4).
  • Assist with setting up IT facilities for new work sites and staff.
  • Maintain physical IT infrastructure, including cabling, network devices, and server environments.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on servers and network components.
  • Support IT projects as required.
  • Ensure systems are updated and secure, including OS upgrades and patching.

What you'll bring

Successful candidate should have the following attributes:

  • 2+ years of IT experience (Not essential, but highly desirable)
  • Familiarity with remote desktop tools (RD, TeamViewer).
  • Basic understanding of LAN, WAN, VLAN, Wi-Fi (Ruckus AP), DHCP, routing, switching, fiber, and networks.
  • Very basic knowledge of Active Directory/Entra ID, SCCM, GPO, DNS, domain controllers.
  • Exposure to Synology/QNAP NAS, SAN, Veeam backups (bonus).
  • Familiarity with Windows Server technologies (2022, 2025).
  • Relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Proactive, adaptable and willing to work overtime when required.
  • Comfortable with occasional travel to retail branches.
