Pastry Chef

A rare opportunity Join a longstanding owner/operated local cafe and bakery team that's passionate about great food and committed to the highest standards.

We're looking for someone to work alongside our skilled, experienced baker to produce laminated pastries (croissants, puff pastry) and other products using traditional techniques. Experience with French style baking or high level pastry work is an advantage but we'll provide full training to the right candidate who shows the right attitude and willingness to learn.

This full-time role is ideal for someone looking to commit long-term.

Must be available for start date: 18/11/2025

• Previous baking or pastry experience
• A genuine passion for food and a professional work ethic
• Strong organisational skills
• The ability to work a 5-day week hours) across a Monday - Sunday roster
• The flexibility to work early starts with the bonus of early finishes

We're seeking individuals who are trustworthy, flexible and adaptable to change, with the ability to multitask in a busy environment. You'll bring excellent communication skills and a team orientated attitude.

Experience in stock management, ordering and maintaining food safety and hygiene standards is preferred but not essential.
